Job Summary
Basic Function of the Position: The Computer Systems Administrator (CSA) is responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of the OpenNet network and all associated software and deployed hardware peripherals. Additionally, this position conducts training for our users on Microsoft Office and corporate applications. The incumbent reports directly to the Computer Management Specialist (LES ISC Supervisor) and shares responsibility for the administration of network equipment, servers and workstations making up the OpenNet (unclassified) local area network (LAN).
Essential qualifications
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of two and half years of experience in Microsoft Windows and Exchange systems administration is required. One year of experience providing training in Microsoft Office applications is also required. Six months of applications development is required
JOB KNOWLEDGE: A thorough knowledge of Windows 10, MS Exchange, Windows Server and Microsoft Office applications is required. Ability to conduct training of Microsoft Office applications to a varied audience is required. Ability to perform basic software development is required.
Education Requirements:
University degree in computer science, information systems, computer or electrical engineering, mathematics, or the physical sciences and at least one IT industry-recognized professional certification is required.

LANGUAGE: Level 4 (fluent knowledge) English required. Level 4 (fluent knowledge) Arabic required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems and administer user accounts and permissions is required. Position requires ability to provide professional customer service and work under stress. Individual must be a self-starter and be able to work independently. Must be able to lift, transport and install IT equipment weighing up to 25kg. Serve as an incidental driver in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Embassy and the Department of State.
