Under the supervision of the Admin Section Lead, this position is one of seven positions that perform programmatic and administrative support duties for Branch staff.
The incumbent manages administrative support for the Country Business Office (CBO), including maintaining up-to-date contact lists, coordination of calendars and meeting schedules, assisting with travel preparation, procurement requests, human resources requirements, photocopying, and maintaining minutes of official meetings.
The incumbent also provides logistical and administrative support for coordination of conferences and meeting for the CBO Branch.
- Experience in coordinating with third parties.
- hands-on experience in using Databases (such as Access and SQL), Excel, PowerPoint and Vision.
- Knowledge of WFP activities and procedures in the country is an advantage.
STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three years of administrative or secretarial experience in an office setting is required.
Completion of Secondary School and received high school diploma
LANGUAGE: Level 4 (Fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing of English is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Familiarity with MS Word is required.
Must be capable of typing 40 wpm
